Zeal:  (definition) Great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective.

Do not let your heart envy sinners,
But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day.
Proverbs 23:17 (NKJV)

Why be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day?
  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.  (Proverbs 1:7)
  • The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life.  (Proverbs 14:27)
  • He who has the fear of the Lord will abide in satisfaction, he will not be visited with evil.  (Proverbs 19:23)

    I do believe once we truly understand to fear the Lord, our lives would be so much more better.
