You are the light of the world.
A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on a
lamp stand,
and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see
your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Light will always extinguish darkness. Lord, help me be a light to everyone I
meet. Remind me to be kind to others and
help every time I can. I want to learn
to be Christ-like in everything I do…even when I am alone.

I like that hill of crosses. We do need to shine our light indeed.

No disrespect meant (really!) ... but when I first saw this, I began humming, "This little light of mine; I'm gonna let it shine."
ReplyDelete... and perhaps for the first time, I realized how holy is that song I learned so many years back in Brownies.
