The Promise of Freedom

I finally come to the understanding that begging God for what He already said I can have doesn't accomplish anything.  Trying to do it on my own accomplishes nothing, as well.  Of all the times I've said, "Seek Him first," it's finally hitting me that in order to have all He says I have, I must have Jesus, because He is everything I need.   He is my freedom, my peace, my comfort, my joy, my salvation; He is my all in all.

Committed Thought:
Do you believe what Jesus said?

Then believe in His promises.

He has promised us a light load and an easy yoke.
(The key to an easy yoke is full 
trust in the One who provides it.)

He promises Freedom, and He is just to deliver it!

His peace is beyond our understanding.

He hears our pleas for freedom, and His heart is moved for us.

(Seek Him first!  He knows our needs, and we need 
freedom from these food chains that have us bound.)

We are His children, and He never once has forsaken us. 
Nor will He ever. 

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, 
for I am gentle and lowly in heart, 
and you will find rest for your souls. 
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:  28-30
