When it comes to choices, I’ve made some crazy ones in my
lifetime! If I were to share with you
some of those choices, it would make for some juicy gossip, and I don’t want to
go all TMI on you. Lucky you!
There was this one time, when I was a teenager, my friends
and I…actually the boys we were with I didn’t know so well…were at the river, and
we got the insane idea to climb up the dilapidated railroad bridge. And we did it. At night.
In the dark. Silly
teenagers! No safety cords or
nets. I thought I was the coolest cat
anyone could know.
I’m hyperventilating thinking about it.
I make better choices these days. Usually...customarily, that is.

Hi MCB - love the crimson of the iris .. and those cardinals are just amazing .. while the simpler things of a bird on a nest, a cow and a calf to give us cream .. then the cannon to wake us once the birds have fledged, the clock to announce must across the crowning glory of the valley ..

LOVE the colors in the fall picture and the birds, very pretty. Right you are, change your attitude and you'll change your life.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your C's.
ReplyDeleteI love that clock picture! Between you and Gina, you guys could do a book on pictures! LOL with your teenage adventure! We think we are so immortal then, don't we? I remember my brother saying when he was probably about 18 or 19, the band they were playing in had a job in a mountain area. They were driving home at night aftewards and decided at times for the driver to close his eyes while he was driving those curvy roads. They thought it was fun. I remember when he told me that years ago I shuddered!

Beautiful pics, as usual. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of cows, tho. When I was a child, we had a magnificent cherry tree in our front yard...next to a fence. On the other side of the fence was a had cow pasture of sorts. Really just 4 cows in what was more of a very large yard than what you'd picture as a pasture.. (I did mention we're pretty rural here, right? I did not jest.) At any rate, those cows wold lean over the fence and eat the cherries off of my tree. Hmph. They, of course, could only get to the only ones that I could reach. (I was a chubby little girl and could only climb up to, and sit on, the lowest branch...which was above the cow pasture. The other side of tree didn't lend itself to my climbing it. Darn cows.
I called Bill in to see the Gatlinburg pic, by the way. He enjoyed it. Said it was beautiful. :D
