As
the dawn breaks, I welcome 2015 with open arms, and I greet the New Year with expectancy
and renewed hope, ever thankful for God’s never-ending mercy.
I
am not sorry to see 2014 go! I refuse to drag old baggage into the new year,
nor will I hang on to failures, disappointments, or disillusionments. I will let it all go. I will take God’s hand and allow Him to pull
me from the pit in which I so gallantly tossed myself and took up
residence.
I will seek Him
first,
And not fret.
I will trust.
I will not believe
everything I think.
I will not walk
around my mountain one more time…
I
have set the Lord always before me:
because
He is at my right hand,
I shall not be moved.
Psalm 16:8
Amen!
ReplyDeleteI like the thought of not walking around the mountain again. I too want to put Jesus first in this new year. I hope it is a kind one for you and yours. Betty
