Ps 144:1-2
Blessed be
the Lord my Rock,
Who trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle—
My lovingkindness and my fortress,
My high tower and my deliverer,
My shield and the One in whom I take refuge.
And my fingers for battle—
My lovingkindness and my fortress,
My high tower and my deliverer,
My shield and the One in whom I take refuge.
It is time
to learn to trust Him! Many times He has told me to trust Him!
Trust is my shield; it is the high tower in which I seek refuge. It
is the righteousness of God. I must wear trust like armor...
pick it up,
put it
on,
sleep in it,
bathe in it,
swallow it,
and keep it in my heart always.
Rather I trust Him or not, He really is in control, so when I don't trust, it only adversely affects me. Therefore, I simply must learn how to trust Him! When I fully trust, I can fully submit to Him, and that is where freedom lies. I need to know that He doesn't give me freedom, He is my freedom.
I agree, we need to trust in him. Time after time he has shown he is more than capable. I don't know why it is so hard to fully trust in him, at least for me it is. I'm a continual work in progress with this!
