Weather
I do not
like scary weather…or even scary weather threats. Right now, the massive system of bad stuff in the
plains is headed my way, and I am trying to not let it ruin my weekend.
Wishes
During that
lonnng winter, when I was wishing for spring, in the back of my
mind was, “Yeah, and that means severe weather, too.”
Wonky
Scared believers
must look wonky to non-believers since we know
God is in control…even of the weather…but
I still fight fear. Because weather!
Weight
After this challenge
is over, I’m going to be whining
about this weight gain and what to do about it! I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Again.

I love the pictures from your back yard; all the pictures were great! I know, we need to be strong and not afraid and present ourselves like that to non believers, but its hard sometimes. Wow, you guys have had a variety of weather this year, haven't you? Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteand remember where Jesus wsa during the storm, asleep on the boat, safe in knowing his Father was in control

Excellent pics today. Particular favourites would have to be the Woodpecker and the mountain stream. My favourite place on Earth are the ranges of the Scottish Highlands.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about weather. I couldn't agree more. Storms show God's power, but they unnerve me, too...even in their beauty.
ReplyDeleteGood pictures for W. New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge, and I look forward to visiting again.

Margaret, that Smoky Mtn stream photo could have been plucked from a post card! Stellar, that's what it is....You know, since I'm opposed to using the word, "awesome." :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the movement in the wedding dress photo, too. At first, I thought it was water. Gorgeous.
About weight--the only thing I have is whines. Tomorrow...
You have quite a talent there.
Deb
WOW!!! I can't believe you have a trained red headed woodpecker living in your backyard! It was smart teaching him only to peck on his little house. Next, comes a carving class!
ReplyDeleteLove your Wisteria Bush.. one of my favorite flowers....
Your a writing PRO with the A-Z challenge!!!!!!
Haha! Well....he wasn't pecking on that little house...he was eating the seeds. lolz There are two or three of them back there, and a different woodpecker visits, too, I think it's called a Downy. It's amazing what kind of birds show up when you put out seed. We've been doing it for years now.
DeleteThose wisteria bushes will take over anything they grow near, that's for sure.
Thanks!
